Lumad students, workers receive goods from 7th CRG, CRSAFP

MORE or less 85 Lumad students benefit from the relief operations conducted inside the compound of the University of the Philippines (UP) Campus in Diliman, Quezon City on 08 May 2020.
The distribution of relief goods at UP Diliman Campus was spearheaded by the 7th Civil Relations Group (NCR), CRSAFP and were made possible through the partnership of Operations Blessings, the UP Vanguards and FPJ Bayanihan Projects.

Being good Samaritans, who were vessels of blessings, the personnel of the 7th CRG with operational jurisdiction in NCR led by its Group Commander, MAJ FRANK SAYSON distributed 100 assorted canned goods and personal hygiene kit which include 40 toiletries for the Lumad students of the Save Our School Network (SOS) who encamped at UP Campus since last year.
Aside from the Lumad students, 40 construction workers who were previously alleged to have eaten rats and stray cats for survival from hunger also benefitted from the relief goods operation.

7CRG has been very active in the implementation of Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko. It is a project where the unit serves as a vessel of blessings for its partner donors. As vessels of blessings, 7CRG constantly provides relief assitance, PPEs, and other services to the slum areas, poor communities, and groups and individuals that were in dire need.

Such activities show that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) through CRSAFP are reaching out with a helping hand to every Filipino regardless of ideologies and beliefs. It is a way of saying that the AFP is here that can be trusted by everyone.
